eviGroup’s Windows 7 Tablet to Compete with Apple Slate
With rumors of an Apple tablet coming in at an all time high, the latest designs from eviGroup for a Windows 7 tablet sure looks attractive. Rather than the traditional convertible form factor of the Lenovo X200 tablet that we recently examined, the eviGroup Tablet comes in a slate form factor with a 10.2-inch 1024 X 600 resistive touchscreen display. The device also packs in its own user interface overlay called Seline. Other amenities include WiFi, 3G, 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1 GB RAM, and a 160 GB hard drive. Specs of the device closely resemble modern netbooks.
The slate from MID also has a smaller 5-inch Android cousin, which looks more like a squarish iPhone. Both devices are shown in the picture.
