The new leaked Gateway Tablet PC looks compelling with its 11.6-inch widescreen convertible display. The device will run on top of Windows 7 (Home Premium or Basic), so we can probably expect a release on or after October 22 when Windows 7 officially launches. Other specs include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM, and Intel GS45 GPU.

When Gateway first entered the tablet market some years ago, the company created some decent bdget tablets, although those were slightly bulkier than the competitors. The design here looks great, and hopefully Gateway will still keep the price low.
