There are a number of industry insiders who say that the project may come to an end due to delays in production and increased costs and prices.
When it was envisioned, the CrunchPad would be an inexpensive tablet that would feature web browsing, Skype, a camera, and a few other features. It would be the ultimate mobile internet device in a slate tablet form factor that would be inexpensive and light enough to carry around and have in the living room to watch TV and browse the net.
