ICD To Make Massive Resistive Touchscreen Android Tablet

Innovative Converged Devices, or ICD, has its eyes set on bringing a massive 15.6-inch Android tablet sporting a 1366 x 768 resistive touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G. Called the ICD Vega, the device will be among the first Android devices to sport a resistive touchscreen as most Android phones to date have capacitive touchscreens. Hopefully, with a resistive screen, stylus and handwriting recognition will be supported as well as part of a future Android 2.0 revision. There is also a nice magnetic stand that will dock and charge the tablet.
The Vega will be expected in the first half of 2010 in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. A smaller 7-inch and 11-inch model will also be expected as well at a later date.
Other hardware features of the Vega include a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and dual microphones. Could the device be moving Android into a video conferencing solution?
