Mangrove Windows Mobile 6.5.1 Tablet in 2010
Windows Mobile is still alive and kicking, and the platform will be coming to the Mangrove 7-inch mobile internet device with a slate tablet form factor in 2010. The device runs on a slightly newer build of Windows Mobile 6.5, dubbed Windows Mobile 6.5.1, which eschews the traditional phone left and right soft key menus for an icon with picture and text for easy finger-friendly control.
The device is rumored to sport a WVGA touchscreen, WiFi, 3G, and WiMax–with 4G WiMax, we’re hoping Sprint will adopt the device on its nascent 4G network. With the 7-inch display, the device will be too big to use as a traditional phone, but with a Bluetooth headset, you can still make calls.
